In a project specifically for adult learners, the State Center Community College District and State Center Adult Education Consortium seek to support the employability, educational access, and socioeconomic mobility of adult learners by promoting prior learning assessment.credit for previously acquired education and vocational experience.
The program will offer two cohorts of Bookkeeping Fundamental to encourage careers in the Accounting and Financial Management field. The SCAEC serves 55,000 adults. Through this program, they hope to solidify the importance of adult education within our region.
